Accomplishments
In May 2007, the Duk Lost Boys Clinic opened in Duk County, South Sudan by the American Care for Sudan Foundation founded by John Dau and members of the Skaneateles, New York community. With oversight from the John Dau Foundation, the Clinic continues to be maintained through private donations and major grant initiatives.

- More than 27,000 patients have received lifesaving medical care the clinic since it opened in May 2007.
- The clinic is currently seeing between 75-100 patients per day with a record of 158 in one day during the visitation of medical instructors. Some walk more than 50km in order to access Clinic services.
- More than 400 expecting mothers have been seen and evaluated. These are the first women to ever receive prenatal care in South Sudan.
- 17 American doctors have visited and worked at the clinic from one to four weeks at a time.
